Whew! I’m on a blogging roll this week! It’s Saturday, it’s football day (a sacred time of year here in the South), and that means it’s the start of fall wedding season. I’m going to be a busy bee over the next few months and I’m so excited about all the fun weddings and shoots I’ve got coming up as the colors deepen and skies turn that beautiful autumn blue shade that can only mean it’s fall in the South.
I’m off to shoot a wedding at Kimball Hall today (shoutout to Griffin and Stirling!) but first I thought I’d share some images from my recent shoot with Andrew and Marissa with you. You may recognize these two from their wedding back in April. Unfortunately, the weather that day wasn’t exactly cooperative. As someone who experienced rain on their wedding day, I know firsthand that it really is the worst feeling. You work so hard planning the perfect day, but nothing you can do can change the weather. Because of the rainy conditions, we didn’t get the opportunity to utilize all of Primrose Cottage’s beautiful gardens on their wedding day, so Marissa asked if I’d be down for shooting photos of them after the fact. Four months later, we made it happen. I have to say it was kind of nice having plenty of time for bride and groom portraits, and with the pressures of the wedding day long behind them, Andrew and Marissa were completely stress free! Check out a few of my faves from our shoot!
